Hilltop Fitness
Hilltop Sports Fitness is a fitness outreach ministry of Northview. They exist to use fitness classes to fulfill the church’s mission of “Connecting people with God … Connecting people with people.” They offer a variety of fitness classes throughout the year, including Zumba, Turbo Kick, PiYo, Walk, Talk, & Pray, and P90X Fit Club Sampler. Each month, 50% of the proceeds from all of the fitness classes are donated to charity -- 25% to Mission of Hope (Haiti relief) and 25% to International Justice Mission (a human rights agency that secures justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression).
Zumba Fitness
The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Our goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, to get hooked. Zumba® Fanatics achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life! The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you've got a Zumba® class!
Class times are Tuesdays, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at North Beach and Saturdays, 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. at the Barn. Cost is $4 to drop in ($2 drop-in for Zumba at the Barn on Saturdays) or you may purchase a punch card of 10 classes for $25, 20 classes for $45 or 30 classes for $60. Your punch card may be used at any of our fitness classes.

Turbo Kick
Sure, it’s kickboxing, but it’s so much more! You’ll kick, punch and groove your way to a brand new body in this action-packed, super fun, super safe and effective cardiovascular workout.
Created in 1997 by Chalene Johnson, Turbo Kick® is featured in over 20,000 different health clubs and fitness chains in the US and countries across the globe. Further, this addictive workout combines shadow boxing, kickboxing, sports drills, dancing, yoga, and simple dance moves in a party atmosphere where losing weight is the side effect of having FUN! Turbo Kick® is an interval based class that allows participants of any fitness level to participate and custom tailor their workouts.
Turbo Kick® has many faces. No program could be as successful or as diverse as Turbo Kick® without the cumulative efforts of many talented and devoted individuals. It combines the best of two worlds: Group Exercise and Martial Arts. No equipment needed! Heavy bags, kick shields and other equipment are costly and inherently more dangerous. This fat blasting format is the ultimate calorie burning challenge! Each workout starts with a sport specific warm-up, bouts of intense intervals, easy to follow combinations, kickboxing specific strength/endurance training and a PiYo™ style cool down that work together to transform your body!
Class time is Mondays, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at North Beach. Cost is $4 to drop in or you may purchase a punch card of 10 classes for $25, 20 classes for $45 or 30 classes for $60. Your punch card may be used at any of our fitness classes.

PiYo
What makes PiYo™ different? PiYo™ is a strong, dynamic, fluid approach to mind/body classes that encompass a “fusion” of many formats blended together for optimal calorie burning results. The “Fusion” style uses dynamic movements that incorporate balance, strength, and functional training while also emphasizing the athleticism found in Pilates, Yoga, Dance, and Sports Conditioning. We want the classes to generate heat in the body through continuous movement and create a sweat while also transforming the body.
What can members expect? Some examples include:
• Warrior poses and high lunges - move up and down rather than holding the lunge for several breaths. Or hold the lunge, but then use movement with your upper body (arms and torso)
• Side planks - add arm circles while holding the position.
• Chair – move from mountain into chair; continue flowing up and down into the squat. Or hold at the bottom of chair and add swimming arms
• Planks – add moving hip extensions
Exercises are selected and balanced through strategic variations (pose angles and application of force), with each specific reshaping movement. Each PiYo™ Lesson builds on the last to increase exercise adherence and avoid hitting plateaus.
Class time is Thursdays at 6:15 p.m. in the Barn. Cost for class is $2 drop-in fee or you may use our punch card.
